The NASCAR XFINITY Series will feature 33 races across 36 weeks for the 2016 season and contains very few changes to the schedule that preceded it. Like the elder Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR has reached five-year agreements with each of the tracks on the XFINITY Series circuit, meaning there will be no new venues on the calendar until at least 2021.Even though the races will not change, the dates for those events will be determined on a year-to-year basis.
