Casey Mears of Naples-based Germain Racing finished 33rd at the NASCAR Sprint Cup-GEICO 500 on Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway. Mears had started 20th. He dropped two spots to 28th in the driver points standings. The next race is the GoBowling 400 at Kansas Speedway on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. on FOX. ......
